Description
The Cedarburg covered bridge, originally called Red Bridge, is one of the last covered bridges in the state of Wisconsin. Built in 1876 to cross the Cedar Creek, the bridge is 120 feet long and is constructed of pine with oak lattices.
In 1962, it was moved 50 feet to the east of its original location in order to preserve it. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973 and is now used only for foot traffic.
