No less than 25 different cars, including fenders from six 1938 Chevrolets and a distinctive Brewster grille were used to radically restyle this Ford Five Window Coupe. It became one of the most famous hot rods to come out of the Midwest in the 1950s. It has been featured in several automotive magazines multiple times since its debut in 1955.
By early 1958 the car had been shown 22 times and took home 33 trophies, including Detroit's Autorama's "Best of Show" in 1955, 1956, and 1957. In 2011, Autorama's Preservation Award was presented to the cars current owner.

By the time I was five years old, I was standing on a stool in the darkroom, helping my dad develop pictures. It was my job to transfer the photos from the hypo to the water bath. I went to college for interior design. After I graduated, I had a long successful career as an art buyer and designer for a large home furnishings company. In 2006, I had a significant life change. My husband became a medical traveler, and I decided to put my career on hold to tag along. In the process, I found my roots again. What...
