Description
The Robert N. Stewart Bridge perfectly frames the Bartholomew County Courthouse as you round the curve on Indiana 46 heading into downtown Columbus, Indiana. Just off to the left, you can see the First Christian Church tower, designed by architect Eliel Saarinen.
The bridge was completed in 1999, formerly known as the Second Street Bridge. It was designed by J. Muller International. In 2013, it was renamed in honor of the former three-term mayor of Columbus, Robert Stewart.
