Description
One of the largest least tern chicks on the beach, I feel pretty strongly that it is one of the babies I photographed right after they hatched two weeks ago. Both were running around, but they never were close enough to each other to get a picture of them together.
Photographed on June 8, 2019, this image is from my second visit to the Least Tern Breeding Area on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The chicks are now ranging in age between 1 day and two weeks old.
