Artist's Description

Window shopping at Reverend Zombie’s House of Voodoo in the French Quarter of New Orleans, Louisiana.

This image started out as a photograph of the House of Voodoo's window display. I changed the orientation of the original window by elongating it which gave it a more "comic book" feel. I then finished it off with a lot of digital graphic magic to take it from a "dark image about voodoo" and convert it to a fun and lively piece of graphic art.

As the 8th photographer in 4 generations of my family, I don't remember a time when photography was not part of my life. I went to college for interior design. After I graduated, I had a long successful career as an art buyer and designer for a large home furnishings company. In 2006, I had a significant life change.
