Artist's Description

After a rainy Spring morning, the sun briefly made an appearance and dried everything up, so I decided to take a walk across Bob the Bridge and enjoy the magnificent clouds. I love Bob’s graceful curve!

The Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge is also affectionately known as Bob the Bridge. This 3000-foot cable-stayed walking bridge crosses the Missouri River between Omaha, Nebraska, and Council Bluffs, Iowa. It was constructed in 2008 and is named in honor of Bob Kerrey, a former Nebraska Senator.
