Artist's Description

Circa 1835, Oak Hill was built by William A. Beatty for his wife, Elizabeth. The home exhibits both Federal and Greek Revival styles of architecture. It was purchased in 2004 by New Jersey natives, Doug Mauro, and Donald McGlynn; they spent two years restoring the antebellum home before opening it up as a B&B.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
