Description
The Jefferson Station entrance of the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
This section of the Convention Center complex was previously the home to the Reading Terminal, housing the Reading train depot, passenger station, and company headquarters. Constructed in 1893, the trainshed was one of the largest single-span arched-roof structures in the world when it was built. Now a historic landmark, it is the only remaining structure of its type in the United States.
