Sunset from Raven Rock Overlook in the North Carolina High Country of the Blue Ridge Mountains near Boone and Blowing Rock. In this image, I captured the last moment before the sun drops down behind the mountains and out of view. It was almost like putting a cherry on top of a perfect end to a marvelous summer day!
Raven Rocks Overlook, known to be one of the best sunset locations in the Blue Ridge Mountains, is located at milepost 289.5 of the Blue Ridge Parkway.
