Description
You can see just a touch of autumn colors starting to pop out in the trees around this old Howe through Truss wooden bridge. Located inside the Santa Fe National Forest, this historic weathered bridge across the Pecos River is near the small unincorporated village of Tererro, New Mexico. It is now only open to foot traffic.
Constructed by the Forest Service in 1921, the bridge was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.
